Christopher Rådlund var en anerkjent kunstner som gjorde seg bemerket med sin nyfigurative og meditative billedkunst både i Norge og Sverige. Han er en elsker av klassisk musikk og har opplevd hele «Ringen» både på La Scala i Milano og Festspielhaus i Bayreuth. Prosjektet hans med skildring av scener fra Richard Wagners opera «Niebelungens Ring», hvor han har selv utviklet scenografier og kostymer, er et barn av de tanker og møter opera-stykket vekket i ham.
Rådlunds bilder representerer enkelhet, stillhet, lindrende mørke og savn – det er bilder som lever videre. Han er kjent for sin kunst med motiver fra Norden, med vinter, vår, sommer og landskap fra fjell, hav, trær og skyer behandlet med naturalistisk håndverk, symmetrisk komposisjon og store linjer. Samarbeidet hans med komponisten Marcus Paus viser hans brede kunstinteresser, hvor han har arrangert tverrfaglige festivaler og malt «live» under fremføringer av klassisk musikk, jazz og black metall.
Rådlund var også en talsmann for den nyfigurative kunsten med boka "Figurasjoner - romantikk og realisme i norsk samtidsmaleri", utgitt i 2009 sammen med Johan Lundberg. Han har også publisert boken "Svart bok om arkitektur" i 2012, i samarbeid med Alexander Z. Ibsen.
Med sin utdannelse fra Statens Kunstakademi i Oslo og Kunsthögskolan i Umeå, har Rådlund hatt en lang karriere i Norge siden 1995. I tillegg har han utdannelse fra Statens Håndverks og Kunstindustriskole i Oslo og Konstindusriskolan i Gøteborg. Han har hatt flere separatutstillinger, deriblant Festspillutstillingen og Fjern front - landskap fra Afghanistan og Norge, samt vært en aktiv deltaker i utstillinger både nasjonalt og internasjonalt.

His collaboration with composer Marcus Paus shows his broad artistic interests, where he arranged interdisciplinary festivals and painted "live" during the performance of classical music, jazz, and black metal.
Rådlund was also an advocate for neo-figurative art with the book "Figures - Romanticism and Realism in Norwegian Contemporary Painting", published in 2009 together with Johan Lundberg. He also published the book "Black Book on Architecture" in 2012, in collaboration with Alexander Z. Ibsen.
With his education from the National Academy of Arts in Oslo and the Umeå Academy of Fine Arts, Rådlund has had a long career in Norway since 1995. He also has education from the National School of Craft and Art Industry in Oslo and the Konstindusriskolan in Gothenburg. He has had several solo exhibitions, including the Festival Exhibition and Distant Front - Landscapes from Afghanistan and Norway, and has been an active participant in exhibitions both nationally and internationally.
