Collection: Aga Klos

Aga (Agnieszka) Klos (born 1984 in Poland) is an active visual artist who works with sculpture, performance, scenography and theatre, and has a studio at Åker gård in Hamar.

Klos has a master's degree in art from the Faculty of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan, Poland (2013). Since her studies, she has been a member of the artist group "Brygada Pigmaliona", which is concerned with sculpture happenings that involve the public in the process of showing how sculptures are created.

As a sculptor, she focuses on both figurative sculptures and abstract forms in clay, plaster, ceramics, resin, concrete, metal, paper and textile. Through her artistic expression, she likes to experiment with recycled materials as part of her sculptures.

She is enthusiastic by nature, and this is reflected in her works. Among other things, she has collaborated with Ringsaker Opera, where she has created scenography and props.

In 2022, she presented her monologue The Daughter at the Politically Correct Theater Festival in Hamar Teater.

Klos has previously exhibited in Poland, Norway, Slovakia, France and Hungary. In Norway, she has been purchased by Innlandet County Council for the decoration of staff rooms at Elverum high school.
