Collection: Alf Chr Hvaring

Alf Christian Hvaring (b.1976) is a neo-figurative visual artist where simplicity is emphasized in the image structure. It can be said that many of his pictures reflect the wonder of the small person in the vast unknown space.

Hvaring has his education from Ålesund Art School, Oslo Academy of Arts (Master's degree in graphics, 2008) and Hangzhou Art Academy, China. He has done the murals at Pigalle in Oslo, and has been bought in by, among others, Fritt Ord and Mandal municipality. He lives in Oslo. He has had solo exhibitions i.a. at Galleri Norske Grafikere and Galleri Briskeby in Oslo, and in 2015 he was a festival exhibitor at the Norwegian Forest Museum in Elverum.

Alf Chr. Hvaring is a member of Norwegian Visual Artists, National Association of Norwegian Painters (LBM) and Norwegian Graphic Artists. He has been associated with Galleri EKG since 2014.
