Gunilla Holm Platou is a Norwegian artist with an education in advertising and design. She works with different media, in addition to lithography, serigraphy and DGA. Platou is best known for his humorous and melancholic depictions of animals, especially cows and birds. She has also worked extensively with environmental protection projects and has had a number of solo and collective exhibitions since her debut in 2003. One of the most sensational projects she is currently working on is "The Red List", a collaboration between scientists and artists on endangered species, with the main focus on endangered bird species
