Collection: No Blix

Inga Blix (1956) lives in Hamar and works with textiles as a material starting point. Her works are formal experiments at the same time conceptually precise and visually complex. Blix works with hand-dyed wool fabric in a technique where the elements are sewn together by hand.

She is educated at Bergen Kunsthåndverksskole and California College of Arts and Crafts and took her diploma in 1983. She has had several solo exhibitions and participated in juried group exhibitions at home and abroad. Her works can be found in KODE Bergen, Telenor and the Department of Foreign Affairs' collections and in Hedmark (Inlandet) county municipality. Inga Blix has had several public decoration assignments at schools and institutions.
