Collection: Ingeborg Stana

Ingeborg Stana (b. 1968) is a Norwegian visual artist who maintains a long and unbroken tradition in Nordic landscape painting. Although her chosen technique, layer painting, is traditional, she has found a way to renew the landscape motif. She is perhaps best known for her large cloud studies.

Stana is educated at the Norwegian Academy of Fine Arts in Oslo (1992–1996) and at the Norwegian Academy of Fine Arts in Florence (1991–1992).
