Collection: Ingri Egeberg
Ingri Egeberg (born 1951 in Hamar, lives in Bergen) has an extensive career as a visual artist, graphic artist, draftsman and writer. She is educated at the Norwegian State College of Crafts and Design in Bergen.
Egeberg has published over 30 books and picture books, both for adults and children. She has also made two cartoons and a series for Children's TV. Egeberg has been a leader in NBK, HKS and BKFH, as well as a board member of the National Gallery, the Contemporary Museum, Norske Grafikere, Bergen Kunsthall and Bergen Academy of Art.
Egeberg received the Ministry of Culture's picture book prize in 1986 and silver in the year's most beautiful picture book 1999. She has also been nominated for the Brege prize twice.
Since 1976, Ingri Egeberg has had over 60 solo exhibitions, decorated among others at the Gallery and Hotel Neptun in Bergen, and has been purchased by, among others, the National Gallery, the Storting, the Norwegian Cultural Council and the Ciurlionis Museum of Modern.
