The title is borrowed from Fjellvettreglene. It also alludes to knowing what you stand for when it rains, that nature can help clear your mind. It is not certain that you always know where you are going, but it can help to know where you are now. Maybe you never reach the top, but still experience mastery and a fantastic view?
The Hurrungane mountain area is located in the southwest of Jotunheimen. The view from the peaks and the way up can take your breath away, and I have made many paintings and lithographs from here. In my work with the lithograph, I have been inspired by Japanese woodcuts, which often have distinctive color fields at the top and bottom of the motif.
