Collection: Anne Kristin Hagesæther

Anne Kristin Hagesæther (b. 1968) works both with painting and graphics. She has her education from University of Brighton, England - Master of Arts / Narrative Illustration, Facultad de Bellas Artes, Seville, Spain and Norfolk Institute of Art and Design, England, Bachelor of Arts (Hons).

Hagesæther has had a number of exhibitions with paintings and graphics, and has carried out several decoration assignments, e.g. a. for Stord Hospital and Oslo Mission Church.

" The circle of motifs in my pictures is located in the borderland between the real and the associative, with references to personal experiences and recognisable, organic fragments. Nature is both an expression of existential, inner states and a starting point for painterly and coloristic exploration," says the artist himself.

Anne Kristin Hagesæther lives in Oslo and has a studio in Bærum. She has been awarded several grants and has won numerous awards for her illustrations.

In 2013 she was a festival exhibitor with us in Elverum, and in 2015 she had a solo exhibition with us in Hamar.
